  1. I liked the picture of how long the Lincoln Highway stretched from, helped me understand how long the highway was and the way you gave what the place was famous for, i.e. its "ghostly" experience.
One advice of criticism i would give you guys is maybe have more pictures of different activities you talked about, like the Lincoln head or the garage sale in different cities that the highway hits!
    Wonder job!

  2. Great work today guys. It was almost like after hearing this presentation that I've been there before! It was crazy because I didn't know that this highway went from san fran to new york!. I really enjoyed how Bryan walked around and enlightened us with a brochure and some of his own personal knowledge. One thing though if anything, try to not look down at the notecard as much. That is something I need to work on as well. Great job!

  3. This presentation included a ton of good information. I really liked the use of the map in the background too. I did feel that it needed pictures to show the sites that you were talking about, they would have been cool to see.

    1. This was Lorenzo. Didn't realize I was logged on as Garrett.

  4. You two did a great job. I really enjoyed how you talked about certain landmarks along the highway and not just the highway itself. This added intrigue and substance to your topic. I had no idea that the Lincoln highway actually travels through Ohio, this was astonishing to me. I really do not have a critique for you two, it was great overall.

  5. You guys did a really good job about giving us plenty of information about the Lincoln Highway, I really liked how you guys sort of focused on Bucyrus and kind of brought the place close to home for everyone. My only suggestion would have been to maybe have included a few pictures of the places you guys were talking about.

  6. I really enjoyed your presentation. Having the map America showing the Lincoln Highway was very effective when paired with your accounts on different cities and sites along the highway. I liked the short story on Al Capone an how he related to the highway and stop at Bucyrus. Way to make a relevant connection to all of us living in Ohio! The only thing I would have suggested was including more pictures of the places that you were talking about. Other than that, everything else was very detailed and interesting. Great job!

  7. I liked the story Bryan told about Al Capone visiting Bucyrus, I thought that was interesting and a good personal connection to the Lincoln Highway. One thing I thought you could have added was pictures of the locations and landmarks that you mentioned during the presentation.

  8. I liked how you talked about the extra information you found out about the hotel and you didn't need a video or anything to keep the presentation long. I think I would have liked to see more of the side attractions of the highway though.

  9. Your presentation was well planned out and executed. I liked how you used the map and how you guys pointed out the interesting things to see along the highway! (i'll keep a look out on those things the next time I am on the Lincoln highway). The only criticism I have is that if you showed us pictures of the things you pointed out along the highway, it could have been easier to picture what you guys were talking about. Overall you guys did an amazing job!

  10. After your presentation I want to do some exploring myself. I never even knew about all these fun little places and events! Very informative, more pictures would have been effective when talking about these quirky places along the highway.

  11. I thought it was really interesting the way you chose to highlight specific things like the speakeasy or the theatre or the giant Lincoln head. It seemed like you were suggesting the highway isn't just the highway but the places you pass on the highway. I was interested to learn more about the small places you talked about.

Like you said during the presentation though I would have loved to see pictures particularly of the Lincoln head. All these places seemed fascinating but it would have been nice to connect them to an image.

  12. I was unaware od most of this information, I was glad that you knew enough about it to teach me something new. It is fascinating to me the amount of history that such an ordinary thing as a road could have. You two did a good job of giving it a voice and making me see that it once mattered. The only thing i would work on is the map you used; I feel like you could have used some more pictures of places along the road. I did like the handout though; maybe you thought the handout satisfied what I just pointed out. Either way, good job.

  13. Your presentation was very good, I thoroughly enjoyed it. i loved that you talked about the various parts of the highway, and showed where the highway went through. However, I think that there could have been pictures. For example, I was extremely interested in seeing Lincoln's giant head or such. Over all though, your presentation rocked.

  14. I really enjoyed the presentation today, the added humor and interesting facts and such really grabbed my attention. The only thing I would say you guys could have done differently would of been to add more pictures. I really wanted to see the sculpture of Lincoln but other than that good job.

  15. The personal history Bryan had with his home town Bucyrus and the gangs that traveled to the speakeasies was extremely interesting and I feel he did a great job explaining the history of his town associated to the highway.

The only thing I can think of to do better is additional locations along the highway. The story of the Lincoln Head was extremely interesting and left me wondering what else there was on the highway.

  16. Great Presentation, I loved how enthusiastic it was and how you guys were actually interested in your research. My favorite part was how you related and told a personal story that had to do with the Lincoln Highway. The only thing was the length of time going over.

  17. Pro: It was a fantastic presentation. I really enjoyed the passion and knowledge you shared. You really seemed as if your very well prepared.

Con: Hard to choose one, but if I have to I would say it would be the off-topic discussion but that was not much of a deal breaker.

New Fact: Did not know the longest movie to be in operation is in Massillon, Oh. That is cool to know this highway has deep roots in Ohio.

  18. I think the presentation was really good. It was very interesting that Bryan had a personal connection with the highway. One thing you could have done better was add in pictures of the places you guys talked about. Besides that it was very good.
